Have you composed a new tango and would like the world to hear it? Tell us about yourself, your music and give us a link to your compositions in a reply below so that we can hear your music.
The piano sheet music for eight new tangos by Webster Young is found at Musicnotes.com under “Webster Young”. Pianists – check out “Tango Lace” and “Tango Dorian”. There are several new tangos by Young on Youtube.
If you’re interested, drop me a line and I’ll keep you informed as new tracks become available. There are several unrecorded pieces and its just a question of making production time…when there is interest I’m more motivated 😉
All of my recordings are available through CD Baby, iTunes, Amazon MP3, and Spotify under the artist names:
Conjunto Berretin
The New York Tango Jam Session
The Alex Krebs Tango Sextet
The Alex Krebs Tango Quartet
What The Tango?!
Here’s my arrangement and performance of “Over the Rainbow (tango)” which is available on CDbaby and itunes. I recorded this with my Argentine friends as I have lived in Buenos Aires for four years.
Another one of my arrangements has become a huge hit at tango clubs worldwide. There are 28 tango dance videos on youtube which use my version of Milonguea del Ayer from my Choros CD (2005). The videos are from Italy, Russia, Japan, Germany, the USA, Croatia etc… Two of the videos feature Chicho Frumboli, pioneer of modern tango dancing. I play all the instruments on this milonga. Here’s the link:
I appreciate your comment. Yes, I am alive. To date about 30 or more tango couples from all over the world have posted videos dancing to my arrangement and recording of Milonga del Ayer and not one of them thought to contact me and ask permission or at least let me know.
I am a tango dancer as well and understand how a song that works is coveted. But when publishing, its respectful to contact the artist. A few months ago an Israeli modern dancer asked to use other music of mine to make a youtube video and I gave her permission to use it free of charge. I appreciated her respect for my creation of the music.

Wow! You are alive! I thought it was the last century’s beginnings. Beautiful, La milonga de Ayer. Hanna
