Unfortunately, experience shows that only about 15% of those receiving my invitation will actually hit the green “Subscribe” button. Of course there are many reason this may be so, but in part, it might because they don’t know me and are suspicious of an unsolicited email invitation.
Thus, perhaps you can increase your odds of winning by sending your friend an email and encouraging them to join. If you do, mention the benefits of being the first to know about my tango festivals, contests, surveys and blogs.
