TOCATO TANGO means “driven crazy by tango”. It’s an Argentinian expression that describes what tango music does to musicians, listeners and dancers alike. One unique asset to this band is that it was designed and trained by dancers with their constant input and critiques. In the tango world, it is very important that the music be danceable. The bass must match your heart beat, taking control of your senses. Then the accordion cries, releasing all your pent up feelings so the cello can express them perfectly for you. You are set free as the violin lifts you up and the steady pulse of the guitar carries you away. Now the music owns you, body and soul. Resistence is futile! You will spend hours listening to tango recordings and dance with shadows.
